Why Satpath Pathshala?

Dazzled by materialism, the new generation is drifting away from moral and spiritual values — and we are responsible for it.
Our temples, once centres of learning, have become places of display, while sect, community and caste keep widening the distance between us. And we are far more eager and committed to school education and hobby classes than to moral and spiritual values — the consequences are already before us.
Even so-called civilised society is caught in harmful customs and addictions. Eating at night and eating forbidden foods are spreading, hotel culture dominates, drinking is becoming fashionable… libraries are empty and young people are missing from our temples. In such times the pathshala matters more than ever. The heritage of values that has reached us over thousands of years — it is our duty to hand it on to the next generation.
Our aim: every child receives moral and spiritual education alongside school education — to live with self-respect, progress towards self-welfare, and become an inspiration to others.
